Sailing to the Sea route begins and ends at the same jetty and lasts roughly two hours. On this trip the same sights are visited as on the Sailing Bilbao route plus there is a foray up the estuary to the suspension bridge zone in Portugalete. Apart from those already mentioned, the main points of interest to highlight on this trip are::
- Sailing seawards along the estuary up to its mouth at El Abra and visiting the various municipalities, including the history of industry there, the wharves and the shipyards.
- Rontegi Bridge.
- Biskaia Suspension Bridge in Portugalete - Getxo.
